Sarah is 8 months old!

 

Sarah turned 8 months old a few days ago.  I couldn't get a good picture as she kept eating the sign that says 8 months! But she was so happy.

At 8 months, Sarah:

can:

-army crawl, she pulls herself across the floor, even on carpet! She can't crawl in the traditional sense yet, but she loves to rock back and forth on her knees, especially when she is mad or upset.  

-push herself up from her belly to sit, I haven't seen it in action but I have seen her sitting up a few moments after she was playing on her belly.

-feed herself food, like raw peppers even! Baby led weaning has been pretty amazing.

-giggle, she has such an amazing giggle.

-pivot around on the floor really fast,

Loves:

-playing with Casey. Sometimes she just looks at Casey and they laugh at each other (with each other).  Other times they play side by side.  Casey often takes away her toys but usually gives her something else to play with.

-playing with other kids, and getting attention from people even strangers.

-her pacifier. She needs it to sleep and often soothes her.  

-me signing songs to her during diaper changes, yup she likes my voice!

Hates:

-being left alone for long, or when we have to help casey with something, that's when she busts out the angry almost crawling. 

-getting stuck under chairs or couches

Just a note about Casey, she has potty trained over the last few weeks, which is amazing.  Still needs a diaper for nap and nighttime, but otherwise LOVES her underwear.
