Sarah is 9 months old. This last month has seen such amazing changes. No teeth yet!
At 9 months:
Sarah can:
-crawl, a full on normal baby crawl.
-crawl holding an object in one hand.
-start to pull herself up (so far just to her knees).
-coo and make baby noises, like dadadadada, or bopbopbopbop
-sign for "more"
-clap hands
-sleep through the night. despite a week or two of getting up at 3 am, she is generally an amazing nighttime sleeper, even with colds.
Sarah likes:
-music and singing, she will bop around to even Casey's singing of ABCs, but I think her favorite is old macdonald.
-Casey, loves loves loves Casey (and Casey loves Sarah, somehow Casey can be giggling away and I have no idea why, and I look over and see Sarah is just looking at her and smiling).
-LOVES: salmon, chicken, turkey and scrambled eggs (if I gave her red meat she would probably love it more), bananas; likes: string beans, steamed carrot, peas, apples, apple sauce, beets, radishes, etc. pretty much everything except avocado.
-the bath.
Sarah hates:
-being psyched out. For example, if I am about to sit down and nurse her in the rocking chair, but Casey all of a sudden needs to go to the toilet, so I can't nurse that second, yeah, Sarah hates that, with good reason.
-not being able to find her pacifier
-having her nose wiped with a tissue or using the snot sucker (although sometimes she doesn't mind it)
And Sarah's nine month stats:
weight: 16lb 12.5 oz (25%)
length: 27 and 1/4 in (25%)
head: 17 in (50%)
