Casey is 4 months old!

Yesterday Casey turned 4 months old. We just returned from our 2 week trip to New Zealand with stops in LA and boulder, co. Casey was a great traveller!!! She did great on each plane ride and made friends the whole way. All smiles these days!

Casey was lucky to visit with her Nana, who passed away a few days ago.  I'll post some of those pictures in another post - but isn't a 4 month old lucky to be held and loved by a 99 year old! I think so!

At 4 months,

Casey can:
-Roll over from back to tummy and tummy to back
-Reach out and grab at things! (this is new as of a few days ago!). Even when on her belly.
-keep her pacifier in!!!! (thank goodness!!).
-laugh and giggle and smile all day.
-notice textures now. She is like a cat scratching her nails on different fabrics.
-chat for 20 minutes even if no one responds!

Casey likes:
-people and faces. The airports and planes were like people mobiles for her.
-Her hands. And other peoples hands.
-her mommy's necklace. She just pulls on it all day.
-most things really!

Casey hates:
-the crinkle of plastic or paper.
-loud announcements on the plane.
-sleeping through the night. Now that she rolls over she wakes herself up!!
-having to sit when she could be standing! With assistance!
