Casey is three today!

She had a big birthday bash yesterday w Sarah. And today was a fun event at her nursery school w characters. So we didn't do anything special except open a ton of gifts!!

Casey loves crafts. Stickers. Scissors. Glueing. Painting. Crayons. Markers. You name it! If it requires attention and fine motor skills she loves it. She loves music and musical instruments. Still loves the bath even though it dries out her skin.

She loves to dress up. As a fairy. A princess. A pirate. And she loves crowns. Specifically birthday crowns.

She loves school and her teachers Stephanie, Pam and Fern. And her friends at school. And her kol ami friends and stroller strides friends. And her friends love her too! I have had so many moms come up to me and say how her child talks about casey all the time. (And sometimes I have no idea who the kid is! Casey can be tight lipped about her friends.)

She loves to do the stroller strides exercises herself. She loves putting hair bows and clips in her hair even after I do it for her. She loves getting dressed up for shabbat. She loves dresses especially her purple dress.

She loves Sarah. Yes sometimes she wants "upeee" and be carried. But she plays peek a boo and Legos and reads books with sarah. She is learning how to be a wonderful older sister. She sings to sarah when sarah gets upset in the car. But she is always off tune!!

Casey has a great sense of humor. She loves to giggle. She loves imaginary play. She likes to give me directions like "just take the hutch" and "turn onto sleepy hollow road and go past Sesame Street live and you are there! " Her voice used to get super high when asking questions or telling us a good idea about what to do, but it doesn't happen much anymore. She used to be very independent and would say "I'll do it myself!" but she is learning that others can help and show her cool things (like flip flop over the top with her jacket). But she is still proud when she does things herself, like go to the potty or use scissors or put the paprika on the chicken.

She loves her family. Daddy. Nanny and grandpa. Grandma and granddad and ginger (the cat). Her cousins and aunts and uncles. Her friends. She is a special little girl who really makes connections with her family and friends.
