Day 3 Barcelona Sagrada Familia

Very very hot. But awesome tour. Very different from 23 years ago when danielle was last there. Its no longer a total construction zone!

 The light thru the stained glass was really amazing. 

Day 3? Barcelona Parc Guell

Hot hot hot and busy busy busy. 

 Elephant legs and elephant trunk inspiration. 

Day 2 and who knows what in Barcelona - kissing wall

Also saw a short flamenco show. 
Picasso’s old haunt. The walking tour was pretty terrible, more like an escort but we had fun.

We spoke yesterday and have gotten a few letters. Sounds like camp this summer is a big hit w both casey and sarah. Casey tried water skiing and knee boarding  (twice!) and sarah went camping on an overnight trip. She only got two hours of sleep! Or so she says.  

Day 2. Very very hot to explore but Casa Mila tour was awesome

Day 1 in Barcelona

Long flight that was not comfortable and long passport immigration queue. But things picked up once we got to our hotel. Which is awesome. We are overlooking Las Ramblas but the windows don’t let any noise in and the hotel itself is cool. Rooftop is nice w the tiniest pool ever but amazing views. Here we are walking in La Eixample neighborhood and checking out some gaudi buildings from the outside. 

And we found a Lladró store so took a picture for the Craigheads.
