First day of school
Casey is in year 4. Sarah is in year 2. Only one child cried at pick up (sarah) but overall they had a great first day. It rained and rained!

Yummy lunch date with Izzy, Allison and Andrew.

A fluffy for each kid after the playground after school. Paradise.

We left managed isolation and had an amazing and overwhelming day!
We left managed isolation this morning. Anthea, Peter and Virginia picked us up. Goodbye Pullman hotel!
We enjoyed being in a cafe having a flat white. Andrew took the kids to check out the library

View from the end of our street. One house away.

Casey’s writing, more creativity.
Zip line for LOLs
We squeeze a mile out of the girls if they listen to their own music or podcast.

Saturday. We leave Monday. We can almost taste it.
Sky tower and drinking Michaels birthday bubbly.
Delish dinner last night of lamb, kumra, and potatoes. Caesar salad and a citrus tart for dessert. Not every meal is as yummy but last night was great!
Views from the 14th floor. You can see Devonport and Rangitoto in the distance. Maybe we will hike to the top of Rangitoto as a family soon!
I was all by myself in the recreation area.
More sky tower views. Different color every night. Two nights ago green. Last night was rainbow - it kept changing. See picture at the top.

Getting creative
Re-using brown paper bags to make lol houses. Casey doing pull-ups.
Michael and sarah are in the window. Second from bottom and send from left.
Aunt Pricilla and Uncle Dennis stopped by as they were going across the street for something. Our visit was one minute long as the lobby was closing and we had to vacate and head upstairs. Then we were told the girls were using the wrong types of masks. We’ve been here 8 days and they are just telling us now. Cue meltdown from two tired and hungry kids.
Lovely views. Pink Sky Tower.

Some amazing views from the 14th floor. Where they do the covid testing.
And we were negative!
Below is the view from one of our hotel rooms. You can see the Sky Tower.

My latest trick. The girls walked a mile listening to podcasts.
