Casey was a bit off, she needed me in the class whereas usually I entertain sarah

Sara is 1!!!!! 12 months old!

Well on Friday :)  We had a busy day but nothing too special, we are waiting for the birthday party in two weeks.  But time is flying, faster and faster, with my vbac baby. 

At 12 months, Sarah:

can:
-crawl, cruise, pull herself up, and even start to let go!
-"walk" by pushing a chair, but she refuses to walk if you hold her hands.
- do open shut them with her hands, clap, sign for no more, more.
-climb up a full flight of stairs! (but not down)

likes:
-a game of giving me a toy or something, taking it back, again and again and again
-lying flat at the top of a step and throwing paper, toys, whatever over the side, picking it up and doing that again and again.
-the bath, still, loves it.
-her sister Casey.
-music classes and guitars and any shaker or instrument she can get a hold of (even me singing Old MacDonald)
-sucking the wash cloth in the bath (ugh!)
-people, laughing with them, playing with them (other babies and kids)
-honeydew, string cheese and pear (these are basically the only foods I know she will eat)

dislikes:
-being stuck in the stroller during stroller strides sometimes.
-having her face washed
-when Casey takes her toys out of her hands (or pushes her!)

Sarah figured out how to do the piggy bank toy today. She did this for about 25 minutes, she was so engrossed :)

Started her morning like this. She fell asleep on me! This hadn't happened in years!!

But really she was on the couch most of the day.

Sarah is 11 months old!

Sarah turned 11 months a few days ago.  At 11 months, Sarah:

Can:

-wave bye-bye and kind of say bye-bye

-wave high

-sign "more" and "all done" and "drink"

-blow kisses

-crawl really fast, pull herself up to stand, stand holding on with only one hand

Likes:

-peek-a-boo

-taking lego pieces apart

-playing with whatever Casey has (I suspect this will get worse!)

-throwing her food over the side of the high chair (which mommy dislikes)

-dance when she hears music

-LOVES music class and whenever someone sings, especially Old MacDonald

-loves her bath, especially laying on her back when we rinse her hair, and she crawls around, tries to stand up.

-throw or drop toys and paper over the edge of the step, lie down at the edge, pick it up, sit up, and do it all over again.

-turning pages of books.

Dislikes:

-waiting for her food.  She gets hungry and needs to eat!

-having her nose wiped or suctioned

-beginning to hate diaper changes
